Adapting to challenges and prioritizing service to others has defined my journey. Through my perseverance, innovation and integrity, I’ve overcome obstacles and, along the way, strived to positively impact the lives of those around me.
Straight out of college, I embarked on a journey into the world of real estate, diverging from my degree in forest product marketing. While the lumber industry never quite resonated with me, the prospect of transforming homes, revitalizing neighborhoods and guiding individuals through life-changing decisions ignited a newfound passion.
Beginning my journey at 22, I embraced the challenges of a commission-based income, tirelessly pounding the pavement to establish myself in the industry. My first years in the industry were incredible—my motivation and commitment to learning everything I could allowed me to set myself apart. My work is purpose-driven, wanting to help people in my community make great buying and selling decisions.
It was during this pivotal time that my wife, Krissy, shared life-altering news—she was pregnant with our second son. The timing couldn't have been more daunting as it coincided with the onset of the 2008 market crash. Amidst the looming uncertainties, the weight of responsibility bore down on me. No longer was it solely about my goals; it was about our growing family's future.
Faced with this new reality, I choose to innovate and adapt. Sensing the market's shifting tides, I became one of the pioneering agents in Minnesota to navigate short sales—a decision that would redefine my career trajectory. Through perseverance and a commitment to learning, I forged invaluable relationships with major banks and asset management companies, establishing myself as a trusted expert in a rapidly evolving landscape.
While the crash devastated many in the industry, I was ahead of the curve. My proactive approach allowed me not only to weather the storm but to thrive in the face of adversity. My wife even joined me in property assessments, helping me keep up with the workload. There were many late nights during those years, but I was just grateful to be providing for my family.
As the years passed, we shifted from a distressed market to a growth market. Just as I did before, I adapted to the needs of the market, working with many new construction projects. From there, I even began working in development, helping create luxury communities. It is very rewarding to help build up these neighborhoods, creating spaces for people and families to connect and grow together.
My driving force is to support my wife and our children, Carter, Dylan and Olivia. And I understand that many of my clients want to do the same. That is why I am so passionate about advocating for my clients, educating them throughout the process and offering my professional opinion that always protects their best interests.

If I think buying a specific home or selling may financially hinder my clients, I will say so. I’m not afraid to have the tough conversations because I want you to be successful now and in the future. With integrity, compassion and a people-first approach, I am committed to serving my clients and my community.
Family time is very important to me. We go up to our cabin as often as we can, taking a step back from our busy lives to enjoy nature, hunt, fish and, most importantly, relax. Real estate can be a 24/7 job, so I try to carve out time to slow down and be with my family.
Through market shifts and personal milestones, I've learned that true fulfillment lies in serving others and leaving a lasting impact. Whether it's advocating for my client's best interests or spending time with my family, my purpose is clear: to support, empower and enrich the lives of those around me!
Working in real estate for 23+ years, the most important thing I offer is an honest, transparent, authentic, and trustworthy service. My business is built almost entirely on referrals and repeat business. My clients trust me to help their family, friends and coworkers through one of the most important investment decisions of their lives. I take that responsibility seriously, prioritizing my clients' best interests above all else, even if it means advising them against a particular purchase or sale. Building relationships on the foundation of trust forms the cornerstone of my business.
The expertise I bring to every transaction is a huge asset for my clients. From understanding structural elements to the costs associated with remodeling or recommended trusted vendors, I want to be a true resource to my clients, helping them navigate every step of the process. This knowledge isn't just a tool in my arsenal; it's the foundation upon which I build trust and confidence with my clients.

Knowing the ins and outs of houses and the process allows me to guide you with precision and clarity, ensuring that you make informed decisions every step of the way. Even when the transaction is over, I am committed to supporting you as your REALTOR® and friend for life!
